Disabling procedure:
- Click Start then Computer
- Right Click the C: Drive
- Click on Properties
- Select the Tools Tab
- Click on Defragment Now
- Uncheck Run on a schedule

Disk Defragmentation in Windows Vista is always on which is not really necessary and slow down the Windows. Try to defrag manually about every week.
